Aluminum panniers: Tesch-Travel-Tasche 4
< TTT4 with lid and legs and TTTank 13 liter for petrol / water
Only this box is recommendable for BMW R 1100, 1150 and 1150 GS Adventure
because this box is small (only 21 wide). This helps to minimise the withs of
the total bike and offers a betetr handling than wider boxes.
You can attach
this alubox to any standard rack (mostly 6 mm diameter) of these bikes. If you
want a stronger rack you can buy the TOURATECH rack via me. Or can take the strongest
TESCH-rack worldwide.
TTT4: 49 liter (53 cm L
x 21 W x 44 H. 5 kg)
The best concept for
motorcycle boxes "TTT 4" : 2 mm strong aluminium sewed totally around.
Waterproof! More save by 45° slopings in front and aside. It is a solution
for different problems: In front when you put out your feet automatically and
get stock in mud or sand. Aside against touch down by overloading and extreme
heavy luggage with two persons on tracks and against large stonese in front or
aside when riding through-shaoed holes and in deep sand tracks. By this additionally
slopings the box is stronger i construction in this parts. This box is very small
and very good in handling while riding. To get to 49 liters this box is a bit
higher and longer than the TTTasche 1-3. The top has a very clever new technique
to open and close. Open the top only 3 cms and then pull it flat under the luggage
outside. Aditionally you can put an aluminum can of 13 liters for water or petrol
in the box It fits exactly in the box.

A clou and comfort, which some would not like to miss anymore if they have
this ! Out of the lid you can take out two ally legs. So you have a small table.
You are off the mud / sand of the earth. "Normally" an order is one
box with and the other without a leg.
All prices of the panniers of
TTT1 to TTT4 are without locks ! Two locks for two panniers with the
same key additionally: € 49,90. I let produce the best, very strong locks,
because I know that cheap ones do not hold using them for a long time and "off
road" . They have to protect the luggage against thieves and have to be handy
in practise. Include with locks are the holders and srews. You get two plastic
cups against rain and dust. The locks fit in the holes for this in TTT 1 to TTT4.
- If you order locks alone they cost - because of extra production with the same
key: € 61,90.
How to fix Tesch-Travel-Taschen to racks?:
Tesch-Set

If you use a "Tesch-Travel-Träger"
(Tesch makes the rack) you do not need a set to fix the panniers.
All TTTaschen
1-4 you can fix to all normal racks with round hoses. They should have the diameter
of 16 mms. If they have 18 you can flex out a little bit the Tesch-set and can
use it.
If you compare my boxes /
racks with others you should always add the prices of "Rack + Box + Set to
fix"!
Montage and demontage
of Tesch-Travel-Taschen: Open the lid with a key. Unscrew for 4 mothers. Take
off the box after 3 minutes. In practise you will leave mostly the boxes at the
bike, because no thieve took them off since 1978 ! If you use a more simple lock
to take off the boxes quicker they will not protect you so strong when you fall
and thieves can take off them much easier.

For the aluminum pannier TTTasche 4 you can buy
an exta fitting aluminum-tank (only 2500 g. 1,5 mm). It fits exactly in
the pannier on the inside of the bike. This means that the centre of gravity is
close to the motorcycle. You can use this universal can for water or petrol!
By this you can enlarge the store for fuel up to 20 liters (or 13 for water,
13 for petrol) ! By this you can solve for most motorcycles, especially
the Japanese enduros, for which you do not find a larger fuel-tank, the fuel-problem
riding long distances cheaply !!! The shutter is tight! No smsell in the box!
This sloution is cheaper for all types of motorcycles as a large fuel-tank. These
are are often hard to find or not available at all.
Because the TTTasche
4 and TTTank is more handmade they cost more than TTTaschen 1-3. But to buy
this fuel-tank is much cheaper than to buy a large fuel-tank for your bike
(if there exist one at all) ! This solution is very variabel: You can use
the boy with or later without fuel-tank. If you put this tank into the box, the
gravity point will be much deaper and some of the weight between the axes of the
bike.

for your solo-tour or for a tour with another person / sozia.
